Thank you Mummy Twinkle Toes LSC sounds very interesting and may fit the bill! Looking at their courses in more depth now. Just wondering if you choose a particular pathway eg ballet do students undertake their pathway for the whole 3 years (BA Hons) or does specialist pathway commence in year 2 eg after a whole year of studying the other genres? Also would there be possibility of changes if incorrect pathway was chosen. Sincere thanks for any insight!

Morning All Thanks very much for your very invaluable feed back and sound advice. Thanks also Janet for your welcome. I forgot to mention DD has already applied via UCAS and we have audition dates set already, this is our second time of UCAS! We are trying to secure the correct fit for DD as things are not always as they appear, if that makes sense! I sometimes find that the gloss sometimes overrides the reality hence asking the more experienced members on this wonderful forum for feedback that we can take into account. Have not applied to Laines yet, closes end of February and its certainly worth considering as aware strong ballet focus and thanks for reminder. Have not heard of Shock Out, Manchester and will take a look. Any other suggestions/info would be very gratefully received. Best Wishes

Appreciate any advice regarding MT Degree courses strong in ballet starting this September. DD currently on foundation at "one of the names" and also considering other options. If any members can share any experiences or recommendations would be grateful. A course very strong on dance performance, especially ballet, but does not wish to apply for ballet only as strong singer and enjoys other genres of dance. Also perhaps details on easier establishments to gain entry if there is such a thing! Reason on asking this question: finds the whole audition process stressful! Sincerely appreciate any feedback and insights.
