@The red shoesNo, still haven’t heard anything. @Silver do always try again. My pupil got a no for Tring CBA, followed by an offer of a place at the full time school a couple of years later! She also had two straight nos for JAs, followed by a yes. She is now finishing her first year at Elmhurst, where she is thriving. Don’t give up after one no!
Thank you so much for this! Bless her she is really sad about it. She wants to go to a vocational school after GCSE’s in 2 years - so we still have time! She will keep training and yes we will try again!

My daughter didn’t get a place. She’s gutted. I know they don’t give out feedback, but I was slightly confused at the audition as the girls she auditioned with were easily 2-3 years older than her. Probably should have said something at the time, but maybe we’ll try again next year 🤷♀️
Well done to everyone who got in!

My daughter auditioned… I was also wondering this! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Sorry to hear that @Silver. There must be a very limited number of places for little ones and the fact that she is being encouraged to try again - and is going to - is really positive. Everything crossed for third time lucky
Thanks MAK - fingers crossed for third time lucky!!!
Although i’ve heard November is an even smaller intake!!! 😳😳😳

Ahhhh we got a no for my little dancer. She’s gutted. It was the same letter as last time - saying her dancing was good and she should try again.
She says she wants to try again in November.
Good luck to you all, hope your dancers have an amazing time!

I reckon it will be end of this week/beginning of next week... if you hear let me know! We’re away at the weekend -I’m sure I’m going to miss the post 🙈🤣

All ages. My dd is one of the oldest in Year 5. I don't think age means much to them. x
Ha! I see... ok. Thanks for all the information. It’s very helpful.
I think they said 2 weeks for the letters to come out, so we should know before the end of this month!!

I think it will depend on movement into group 2 (from group 1) and dancers leaving. Quite a few have full time places for September lined up at schools. x
Ah, I see.
What a the mix in group 1? Is it based on ability or age? My daughter is 8 and in year 4. But she just about to go into grade 2 ballet.

Goodness, it’s such a small number... fingers very much crossed then!!
Thanks for replying Ms Sunshine!

Hi, my daughter auditioned on sunday too.
Now for the agonising wait to hear!!!
She had such an amazing time, she really enjoyed it. This was her second audition, she tried out last November but didn’t get a place, they suggested she tried again as her dancing was good.
So we’ll see.... does anyone know how many places there are? She auditioned in group 1.
thanks!
