20th Jan they were downloading applications and said decisions will be made mid March and results would be end of March

It’s a play within a play! So they play stagehands. They dance whist appearing to clear the stage. They appear to sweep the stage whilst dancing you each other and brooms. My DS was understudy for this as they are the more senior parts and he enjoyed it.

They don’t acknowledge orders, DVD usually arrives 4-8 weeks after the performance.
Thanks pointetoes

Noo, I haven’t had acknowledgement of my order either
Me either. I guess they've been busy and a long way from home.

Has anyone has their DVD yet?

Congratulations! We had friends watching all three shows and they thought it was amazing!
Hope you’ve got plans for the rest of the holidays as it’s going to seem flat after all of that!

Next question...dance belts!! So far we have gone full seat but need to look for a new one for September, tell me your little fellas favourites...👍👍👍 xx
Wear Moi!
We found this website helpful. http://www.dancebelt.info/17165091C1D94631B10E/the-complete-guide-to-dance/
It was a lot more comfortable when he’d followed these instructions 😂

Oooh exciting thread! We are happy with DS school but always looking for opportunities for him to be taught by male teachers.
-
Yes we’d have lots more dance school attendees if there was a child price. Might also encourage them to audition themselves!

I enjoyed looking at the photos, there's a fair few boys in it which is good.
When I remembered I froze a 3/4 full bottle of water the night before rehearsals bit we had the heatwave in June and July in Nottingham.
I I know there's auditions in Stoke at the end of November but do they have a period of months where there are no productions so the professionals can work on other projects?
Yes 10 Boys I think.
There are productions coming up in Sept, Oct and Nov on the website.

She said the boy she’s dancing with wears glasses...

My daughter is a Hungarian dancer (and lady in waiting) too...I wonder if they’re dancing together! She’s having a great time and it seems very well organised...I must say I nearly fell over at the price of the t-shirts! I know it’s all for a good cause however and I’m sure we’ll get one anyway!
Ooh I wonder if they are!

DS is a Marinsky Dancer and a Hungarian Dancer and is having a great time! Hope your DC are too!

Yes DS doesn’t like to waste time on food if he can dance!
-
I’m not sure what to send with DS food wise. Packed lunch and a snack?
-
I see the Facebook picture has changed. As DS wasn’t at casting day I’m trying to work out if it is Wimbledon!
-
I think someone said the boys’ parts are friends of the Prince and stagehands?

Malvern Ballet is a lovely one. Being held
in Uppingham School at Easter. Very supportive and friendly. Great teachers and an impressive performance for parents who generally can’t believe what they’ve achieved in such a short time.
