DD is 16 and 1st Year at Central and has full SFE funding for the course and maintenance which covered most, but not all, of the accommodation cost.  SFE cover the cost of the course and I think everyone is eligible for the full cost, the maintenance finance is means tested.  It was easy enough to apply for and came through in plenty of time to cover the start of the foundation degree start. 

Just want to share that there is hope, we have just had a waitlist offer for Central, so anyone waiting please don't give up hoping, we almost had!  ❣️

Has anyone heard of any waitlist movement for Central yet for September intake?

Well done to your daughter and her friends that is lovely news they can all go together.  Did they call today or did you hear on Saturday (sorry to ask this, just checking if there is still any hope for a positive call x) 

We have not had a call and I don’t know anyone that has. My DD is an associate she was at Central on Saturday and no one mentioned phone calls so still waiting for an email. Good luck everyone.

Well done to your daughter!  Sounds like they might be working through an age group each week (or am I just wishful thinking!)

HI and congratulations to those offered places from wait list - so exciting and after a long wait! 

I had actually forgotten until I read this that my DD is on the wait list for Spring!  

Please could anyone tell me which age group the wait list offers are for ? 

My DD is 15 - 16 and I think there was some different advice about whether this age group could apply in any case so I wasn't expecting to

hear again.  But even so would be nice to know if there is some hope!  Thanks 

We had results yesterday.  Sadly a no for my dd.  She wasn't expecting a yes.  Hope some here have had some good news, well done to everyone through to finals.  

Waitlist for us too, well done everyone who auditioned. 

We had the email too, saying we had a place, rather than waitlist, then the error email saying that the acceptance email should have said for waitlist.  Luckily for me I had read the error email first, so by the time I reached the congratulations email I already knew there was an error.  I feel for anyone who shared news and got excited and now has to say it was the wrong email, very disappointing.  Fingers crossed that places come up, if the cut off is midnight tonight to confirm I guess wait list places will come up soon x

Well done Mak that is fabulous news for your daughter.  My understanding of the tour is that there are two date options?  Hope she can work it out.  x

Still waiting for results.  Well done everyone who got a yes, waiting list is an amazing achievement too, and if it is a no, keep trying.  This is our third year of waiting results, always had a no and still she keeps trying !   Good luck all xxx
