Thank you. I want to get photos done over the holidays so want to be as prepared as possible. 

Hi all,

I thought it would be useful to start a topic where we can collate the application/audition requirements for upper schools because it will soon be upon us. Also any insight from those who have recently been through these auditions would be appreciated. 
 

Does anyone know what the application requirements are for Central and Rambert. Ie what photos they are looking for and any other helpful information. (It doesn’t say on their website)

My ds has a yes for week 2 Xx 

These are from the last 2 years. (I think I have them right)

2022 Closing date Feb 15th

Results March 10th

2021 Closing date March 3rd

Results March 18th

my ds said there were 28 in his class too (this was week 2)

And the parents showing says to be there at 9am.....does it start at that time? And again is parking OK?

I had to be there for 9 today. I stayed overnight and arrived at the school around 8.30 this morning and there was plenty of parking spaces. We were met outside the main door and taken to a studio to get ready to watch. They started a little late and the morning consisted of a ballet class which took 1 1/2 hours, then a 15/20 minute break, then a second class which took around 1 1/4 hours xx

Hi, I can’t answer about the travel as I drove there. So once I arrived I went with ds through to get him registered, they went over if he has any allergies etc. Once they’ve got their checklist ticked off my ds was told to wait outside for a houseparent to take them accross to their accommodation and I left. Xx

Last year I got the handbook emailed in June. 

My dd did this summer school a few years ago and absolutely loved it. She stayed with a wonderful family and had the best time. My dd said she learned so much and would love to go back. The classes were small, and the teaching excellent Xx

Last year it was on the Friday after the audition.

Last year they came out on the Friday following the audition - although not all results came out on that and and they continued to come out on the Monday following. 

There’s always some movement on the reserve lists so I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you dc’s xx

Last year after they did the mds audition they all had time slots to go in to physio and they came out after they’d had their appointment. We didn’t go in with them for it just dropped them off and picked them up x

I’m almost positive it was the Sunday I took him up last year. I’ll see if I can find anything in last years emails xx

My ds has luckily got a yes for week 2 💕

I think they’ve extended the deadline xx
