I know that last year LSC has told me they would consider younger students under exceptional circumstances. I don’t know whether they followed through with this but sounded as though they were open.

I have 3 wear moi leotards age 10 - 12 (worn as a tall 12-13 year old) all worn but still in very good condition.

Hi sorry I have some wear moi leotards but I’m not familiar with what size 1 corresponds with in age?

Went from year 7-10 and absolutely loved it. Always found the classes challenging and enjoyable had lots of different teachers as one of the years we didn’t have a specific allocated teacher. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking at pursuing ballet.

Also now have a black Gaynor Minden lace cap sleeve leotard in size junior but is the fit of an Xs and a Purple twin layer Mirella leotard in petite 

Does anyone know what age range they are looking for?

There are CAT schemes that focus on contemporary but no jazz and I think there is one at DanceXchange. London Studio Centre also do associates based in the West Midlands where you do ballet contemporary jazz and singing.

I’ve started at a vocational ballet school this September. But would say the scheme was geared towards contemporary dance much more.

I went to the DanceEast CAT last year and really enjoyed it there. It was still a 100% graduate rate as far as I was aware. 

I think they still do ballet class every day and pointe pas de deux and specified ballet class (might specify on allegro or repertoire) when on the more classical route but also do 2 contemporary classes a week 1/2 jazz classes and 1 commercial class each week. Don’t know all of the exact classes but would say the ballet standard had been high from what I’ve seen.

I don't think it makes a difference but I normally darn before hand. Never thought about doing it after but might have to try now.

I was given information on levels after I had accepted the place.

I'm starting at dance east CAT in September and was just wondering if anyone knew the average ages for the different levels. Thank you 

Just wondering what time the classes would be for anyone talented enough to get in?

I know at NYB auditions they sometimes ask for tap in the audition but it isn't compulsory.

It may also be worth asking Moorland school as they take on an individual basis as well. Hope everything works out.

Whatever your DD feels the most comfortable doing that shows off her skills. I know someone at the school which did a graded dance and some who choreographed their own so don't think it matters that much especially at year 7 stage. Good luck
