  1. Thank you both. DD only restarted ballet last year after quite a long break and some less than satisfactory experiences at other dance schools, so she's a bit behind her peers in terms of grade exams which is a bit of a worry. She also does other dance styles as well as ballet. With this in mind she really wants to challenge herself to see just what she is capable of achieving and both me and DH want to support her in that.
  2. Thank you ! She would be going there as a recreational student at first as she doesn't sit her GCSEs until 2016, after that she'll need to decide which path to take whether that be A levels or vocational college.
  3. Thank you! The forum does seem like a really friendly supportive one
  4. Hello This is my first post but I've been lurking for a while. My DD is currently in year 10 and has danced to various degrees since she was 4 years old. She's been very happy at her current dance school but has aspirations to become a dance teacher when she's older and isn't sure whether she is being pushed or challenged enough to make it a career. I've been looking at other dance schools with her in the Merseyside/Lancashire area and I know that Elliott Clarke always had a really good reputation, however I don't know anyone who has studied there so was hoping there may be someone on the forum who has had experience of Elliott Clarke and can share their thoughts? Thanks in advance D x
