Music For At Home Practice ?started by Lema on October 6th has some good replies about this very topic Alison.

I would recommend Maestro Andrew Greenwood . He has online Ballet Technique videos on Youtube .
I find them quite inspirational and informative to watch when I am unable to get to a Ballet Class myself.
-
There are some videos on YouTube demonstrating just this topic.

Venti Petrov , Ferdi Tumakaka and Lisa Harris all have good Ballet Class Albums on Spotify.

I purchased the Intermediate Foundation which downloaded fully on my iPad but only ever shows the Plies section before crashing .
A total waste of money.
If they are unable to fix these issues maybe they would be better off selling these items as DVD's only

This happened with a BRB family event last year at the Lowry . Costumes for the children to try on or just to look at and also a box of used Pointe Shoes. They were allowed very briefly to rise up in them one foot at a time only .

I hope everyone attending this week has a great time !

When I was little I absolutely loved a box of Records of assorted Ballet Music that my parents had.
I remember well dancing happily round the room to the beautiful music !

Just thinking back to January when I took part in the English National Ballet Swan Lake workshop.
We were taught the Waltz of the Swans ( number 13 in the Score itself) from Act Two which was fun to learn and I loved the music too - it was so lyrical and lovely .
I'm kind of hoping that will be one of the pieces chosen by Jane .
More fun when the choreography was changed so we had to point threateningly at Rothbart as he wandered into our midst at the end !

Crystal please could you post details of your October intensive when you have them ?

Hello Janet I was referring to the Northern Ballet School in Manchester.
I saw and much enjoyed one of their recent end of year Dance Showcases but there was no mention as to where this years Graduates had obtained Contracts .
-
Two informative articles there John . Thank you for posting them.
As for Russell Malifantom though ...

Does anyone know of a list of the destinations of this years Graduates?
