I am going to take back everything i have said about Yuhui not being principal material.  Last night she was incredible!! Probably one of the best Rose Adagios i have seen. Yuhui definitely outshone some of the RB's current principals.

I think that Francesca Hayward and James Hay would be a nice partnership in La Fille?!

I also think a promotion for Francesca is imminent.  I do feel sorry for Yuhui not being a principal yet.  She is a really lovely dancer but I can't help but think she is maybe missing a special quality required for principal. Would be interesting to know the management's thoughts and why they have reservations on promoting her!!

Almost everyone in the amphitheatre talking over the Orchestra between Act II and Act III of The Sleeping Beauty.

Completely agree! I think its terrible to talk so loudly over that beautiful Tchaikovsky music.  There might not be anyone dancing on stage but the music still part of the performance.

Disappointing Osipova is still injured and being replaced by Choe again this Saturday!  At this rate, she might not be doing any SB performances! Having already seen Choe in this role a few times and not being blown away by Golding I am a little tempted to return my ticket..
