  1. Dropped my dd off at Elmhurst yesterday.  She was settled and happy but we were so flat going home...its so quiet without her.  My ds is missing her already.  She rang us a couple of times and was loving it, not hear a peep though today (not that I expected to) but would love to be a fly on the wall to see what they are all up to....going to keep busy like @happymum

  2. Good luck to everyone waiting...and remember if its a no its not a no forever its just a not right now.  My daughter has been a JA since year 4 in Leeds and it is such a wonderful experience for them.  She's only got 2 weeks left in Year 6 JA's.  If you think this is bad wait until you audition for vocational schools  I feel your pain!

  3. I have a character skirt suitable for a small year 7/8. Custom made by Dancing Boutique. Please PM me for detailed sizing if interested

Hi best foot forward, I know its a long time since your post but I might be interested if the skirt is still available.  If you can tell me the waist and length I'll measure my daughter tonight.

  4. I noticed there were some who had got places at white lodge so if they take up those places and you're on the waiting list you must stand a good chance of people dropping out. It's the dreaded wait again isn't it! Now that I know dd has a place I feel sick that I'm now not going to have her around very mixed emotions xx good luck all those still waiting, and big hugs to those who didn't get through this time, you did amazingly well to get to finals so don't forget that xxxx

  5. My dd got through to finals at White lodge but then got a no. She was devastated, she went to dance class that week and all friends were so lovely to her and she moved on after that. Another one of the girls had got in and we were so pleased for her, I could've jumped for joy when I heard she'd been successful.

  6. It is nice, we are the first Street. Not sure I will sleep tonight knowing that it is likely to be tomorrow. I have woken up at 5 every day for the last week going through all scenarios in my head. Stupid really because we don't know anything concrete yet so actually have no decisions to make!

You are a life saver...saved me a day of fretting!  I know exactly what you mean about the early morning panic!  what a rollercoaster ;)

Good luck everyone...I'm at work today so please post if any of you get letters in the post today! I know they said next week but they were really fast last time with the finals information.....I've set my dds expectations but the waiting and not knowing completely stresses her out...she's had headaches and sickly feeling every day...she had such a great time she can remember it for the rest of her life whatever happens...all should be really proud to get to finals, well done :)
