The Senior Stage Manager’s announcement about not taking curtain call photos was far from clear. Ushers made requests to sections of the audience but were not very clear either. However, from my seat in the Stalls Circle, I didn’t see a single phone or camera out and my view was of hundreds of people.

I think that it’s OK to reveal that the audience seemed very appreciative.

 

 

 

I was standing in the stalls circle and saw lots of phones out taking photos of the curtain calls especially in the rear section of the centre block of the stalls which was directly in my view.

As someone whose partner is a school caretaker that is certainly not true where he works. They have installed washing stations outside buildings, dispensers everywhere and social distancing is adhered to in school.

On the way to and going home from school is a completely different matter for so many of the students though where the idea of social distancing completely disappears 😉

I read the statement as that there was no matters to pursue in relation to the Royal Ballet School students therefore it was incidents within the company that means he no longer works for them.

Could be wrong of course.

Paragraph 5 - interview with Nunez she states she danced Tatiana for the first time in 2015.

Nunez did dance it in 2013. Reading the article I think it is the interviewer that got it wrong (or the person typing up the interview) as the question has the date - not the answer

Having spoken to someone in the interval we were thinking that the show wouldn't finish until 10.45. I looked at my watch after the curtain came down on Symphony in C (before curtain calls) and it was 10.40 exactly.

To me it is amazing that only 2 RB dancers have active websites considering quite a few have had sites in the past.

No wonder the Royal Opera House believe social media is the way forward with news 😔

I have just tried out the filters (Ballet and Dance + Main Stage) from that lovely page -  and I would really like to know why there is a 'Coming soon' button on two productions.  Other productions just have a larger  'More info' button.

I believe it was just two pigeons but there are understudies  😁
