Bravo and thanks! So the 'other' Brit companies are having their slots overlapping with the RB?
-
Is anyone feeding these problems back to ROH? They should.
-
Alison, thanks. I've changed the title of this thread to make it clearer that it's for announcements and links to ROH Insights.

Yes, maybe starting this thread was a bad idea (on my part!). I envisaged it being for announcements rather than discussion.

Here's all the information you need to keep up with every single ballet company taking part in World Ballet Day - all of these companies will be streaming on October 2 throughout the day (and night!)
Thanks Bruce.
My poor head. I don't suppose anyone wants to translate all those times to BST for a poor benighted Brit?

I read it as ironic.

Any news of streaming of tonight's Unknown Soldier insight? I can't find anything. Tickets still available.

With less than a week to go until World Ballet Day (Tuesday, 2nd Oct), I was glad to see the following in the official blurb at https://worldballetday.com/about/
Remarkably uninformative.

was interested to see a notation that there is now only one (1) cinema in all of the USA (that being in NYC) scheduled to show the RB relays.
Where was that information? If you look at the map of Mayerling screening locations via the ROH website I can see none in the USA (several in Canada) but I assume that is because of the time difference which means that US screenings are usually, or maybe always, deferred.

I do hope the website will put a link to the YouTube film as soon as possible.

Hopefully Thursday's Unknown Soldier will also be broadcast.
Who knows. The streaming of the Mayerling insight doesn't seem to be announced on the ROH website or Facebook and was only posted on Twitter at 11am. Thursday's insight is labelled as 'filming' so maybe it will be.
-
First off. Mayerling insight with Ryoichi Hirano and Melissa Hamilton. (Also, I think, a first look at the revamped Clore Studio.)
Today, Sept 25, at 19.30 BST on the ROH YouTube channel.

I don't think we have a similar thread to this which I hope will be useful for alerting people to what web relays are coming up, where and when.
N.B. I have changed the title of this thread to point out that it is for notices of Insight Events and where to find the links for web streaming before (and after) the events. Wider discussion of Insights should be in Royal Ballet Insights and Rehearsals discussion.

And of course, because I couldn't get into my account, there was no way to ask for help !!
As Alison has mentioned anyone, even if not a member, can contact us for help. At the bottom of all pages there is a Contact Us link. That should elicit a response, possibly helpful!

No doubt we'll find out today with the opening of Rheingold but I was told by an usher that ticket checks would be performed at each entrance to the auditorium.

The box office assistants I've spoken to don't seem to have been given this information. They were under the impression that the location of the box office in the main building has yet to be decided. They weren't even certain that there would eventually be a box office there.
A piece in the links today talks of "roaming ticket vendors" in the new foyer.
