Nothing here either. I'm presuming there will be no staff in for the next three weeks with it being Easter so I'm not expecting to hear anything for a while now. It's proving to be a good lesson in learning patience. Although I'm proving to be a poor student!

There was only one on the five page document that we were eligible to apply for and we had already contacted them. All other places we have contacted have all been a big fat no. Some positive news from the support fund would be very well received right now for sure!

If people haven't paid the fee have you still completed the registration form and sent over ID to accept your places?

I have paid the registration fee. In my eyes if you aren’t registered then I can’t see if they would allow you on the wait list. But I could be completely wrong and barking up the wrong tree. In my head it was better to be safe than sorry. 

I had this thought process too. Still living in hope for some financial support x

Does anyone know when decisions might be made with regards to the Hammond Support Fund? I know the deadline was 26th and acceptance fees are due this week, do you think we will hear from them before the deadline for the £160 is due?

We have spoken to 2 others who are starting in year 7 and have been offered MDS too, they are not waiting on offers from other places. I expect there might possibly be students already at the school who might have auditioned elsewhere and if they get a place and currently have MDS this would come available. 
 

I could be wrong but I would expect they would have held some MDS back for these auditions coming up, so I am guessing there is more available.

I wonder also when other schools offer their places whether there might start to be a bit of movement? 
I know of one girl who is a day student who self funds but did get some government help for some health needs. I'm not sure how much though. X

We feel the same. Year 10 entry here. I read somewhere on an older forum post that often MDS funding can be prioritised to lower years. I completely understand the reasoning behind this but I feel it might have been slightly more transparent before applying. £160 seems a large amount of money to pay.  It would be much easier if we were allowed to know roughly where we were on the reserve list.

Hi all

just out of curiosity, how many of you have received MDS funding and at which year group were you in when you applied for it? 
For no reason, just interested to see if there is a particular year group who are more likely to receive it.

Yes just had that through. Do you think applying for that would affect MDS funding if any became available? 
 

So there's no funding offer for us. Absolutely gutted 😞 

it would be nice to know how many funding places were offered so we can put it all in to perspective.  And how many were offered to which year groups. 
we are going to still accept our place and hope that we may be fortunate enough to find a way to send our daughter in September. 
 huge well done to those of you who got their funding. And to all of our kids who did amazingly well to be offered a place regardless of funding xx 

Does the funding info say what percentage of funding you've been offered?

Yes, I said we hadn't had any post this week and would they be able to send the outcome by email. X 

We also got our offer for year 10 via email today. Just waiting on the funding now!

I actually phoned yesterday and was told I would get an email yesterday afternoon but nothing was sent. So I emailed again just now so hopefully I will get a reply. 
 

At least you are not the only one.
