DADAs are awarded in order of the "talent list" each college puts together. They are means tested but when the college's pot runs out, that's it. Anybody still on the list would have to self-fund.
The Hammond has just started sending out paperwork for provisional DADA awards. Some people will decline theirs to take a place elsewhere, so more awards will be made as the weeks go on.
Boarding at the Hammond is available for 16+ and we were told most first year diploma students use it.
Hope that helps!
Thank you

I wonder if anyone can advise. My daughter had an audition for upper school MT diploma course on Monday and was offered a place on the day. I’ve not heard anything since. Are all places funded but means tests for DADAs or are they a selected few? Also how does it work with boarding. On the website board isn’t stated for post 16 and it isn’t on their calculator either. I have emailed and asked the questions but reading this forum I’m guessing it will take a while to get a response.

Hi
My daughter Auditioned last week and was offered a place on the day but not given much more information then that.
I was wondering if anyone had received their offer email for Musical Theatre diploma upper school, and what happens next.
is everyone offered funding and this is means tested or is it selected by talent?
Are scholarships offered outside of Dadas? If so do they cover board?
Any help would much be appreciated
Thanks
