DD applied last year and thought the ballet class was quite challenging compared to other auditions which seemed to around the intermediate standard. The jazz class was much easier. The interview was brief and friendly. She did a self-choreographed contemporary solo and was lucky enough to receive a place and a Dada. She didn’t end up accepting as she chose elsewhere, but we were impressed with the school, good facilities and lovely staff who seemed very switched on to getting dancers contracts after graduation.

Thank you for this - was dada recieved at same time as Place? Did they mention year group sizes when you attended audition ?

just looking for anyone with advice for NBS auditions . Level of ballet class, styles of solos shown etc?

We’ve heard rumours of phone calls tomorrow? Not sure if this is just simply a guess though 

At the audition they said it wouldn’t be later than today - let’s hope 

Is anyone else going to the RCS spring intensive starting tomorrow? Was really hoping dd could get the results before going

Us too . Really hoping the central ones don’t take as long as the 24th april.

Anytime in the next week then! Really fingers crossed they come tomorrow, this waiting game isnt a fun one

A happy result for us too! Has anyone experienced this summer school around aged 16 that could give us a bit more info if possible? How does it compare to royal etc?

Looking for a bit of advice in terms of audition leotards as dd has decided she doesn’t feel comfy in the one she wore for her prelims and semis. She has a blue cap sleeve one which she likes but not sure if schools would prefer a basic thin strap? Central and RCS to be exact. Any help appreciated

It seems the audition previously heard within 4 days, the suspense is killing!
