Definitely some there with little or no English when DC has been there. There are usually a few who speak the same language and between them they get through.
Thank you very much and she hopes she can make it next year but not sure at all. She did 3 SI this summer and is very motivated!

Last week there was a boy who spoke no English. He understood, but didn't speak. It seemed like a range of English skills. I'd ask the school how this works if you get accepted.
Thank you verymuch

And she is worried about being the only one who doesn’t speak English enough ! Do you know if there was child in that case too ?

My DD wasn’t accepted this year but wants to try again next year how much finally did it cost you for the week ?

They only ask for a headshot at Malvern, it’s non selective so there’s no need for photos/videos
Thanks

Thank you all for your advice about an another si for my daughter. Does someone knows if they ask for photos or videos for Malvern ?
It doesn’t seem so on their site but I m not sure. -

Congrats to the yeses and swls. To any other nos, as someone up thread mentioned, there are other lovely intensives out there. Would recommend Malvern and Elmhurst - my dd thoroughly enjoyed both 😊
Thanks

I think most people with a ‘no’ don’t tend to come on here and report it! That’s why it seems that ‘everyone’ has a yes or waitlist. I know from past experience that there are lots of ‘no’s’ as both DD and her many of her friends have had them!
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m guessing the majority of applicants would get a straight no?
We had a no

Don’t be disheartened. My ds got a no in year 5 for summer intensive then a yes in year 6 and now in year 7 at White Lodge.
Looking back his photos were really not great .. I rushed them .
it’s purely based on photos NOT talent.. remember that XxThank you very much for your encouragement!

Hello everybody! Any news? Last week to wait we hope !
-
So long to wait !
-
They never answer during weekends?
-
Same for us hope News come soon to get organized and know the result !
-
Anyone got News ?
-
As soon as someone has an answer we tell the others. We are thinking it might more be a no but hope is still there you’ll never know. My daughter is a little chubby but we had the information that it doesn’t bother for SI ! And no pressure is in her for that from her school or me. She has so much pleasure in dancing we will see if she is accepted.
