Maybe can’t always see the tips of their point shoes. Sims photos give you a good idea. To be honest I didn’t notice it at all. Too much else to look at!

I was also lucky enough to have a row A seat just to the left of the conductor.

I echo everything said above. It was a truly immersive experience and the conductor never once referred to the score and was paying so much atttdntion to the dancers. He also conducted the matinee. I was glad he had his own curtain call.

Also noted that Vadim and Fumi had dedicated the performance to Linda in the cast programme.

A truly wonderful memorable evening to be seen again from afar on Thursday.

I notice that there is no General Rehearsal for Alice or MADDADDAM so that is another perk of being a Friend which may be changing . Nothing much of interest next Autumn. Maybe I’ll try out Opera.

If the casting prior to booking is not announced I will have to rethink my Friend Membership.

I couldn’t help wondering if this was Marianela at her zenith in this performance of Swan Lake as she certainly was on fire. As capybara has said -it will be some time before Swan Lake is repeated and I feel she must have been aware of this and was making the most of this iconic role and her partnership with Vadim while she can.

Looks like Vadim and Fumi are no longer appearing at the World Ballet Stars gala in Geneva on June 10th unless they can time travel. They are still being advertised as appearing.

Ticket sold

I have a front row balcony ticket £35 that a friend can’t use if you are interested.

I was able to go back to the search function after each choice. No new queues.

I also had an stress free booking session but without keeping multiple tabs open.

Poor lighting and sound at the Vue in Harrow. They managed to turn the sound up but poor lighting throughout. 

The Insight was sold out before Supporting Friends booking. Same happened with Don Q insight but just struck lucky with a return for Monday!

A principal was asked at the Stage Door when he could be seen again and mentioned Don Q in the Autumn!

So envious to read this as the encore viewing at Finchley Road Vue broke down just before Cinderellas arrival and everyone had to have a refund!

He danced Sleeping Beauty on Feb 3rd and Prix de Lausanne on the 5th,

 No get lag from South Africa so perfectly possible to be on London on 19th.

Notice that all the Friends Rehearsals for the next booking period are listed as Sold Out. Can this be the case?
