As a teen who is in her early 20 myself, I would definetely say that your support for your daughter's choice was absolutely right! Doing something she really feels that she loves is the right route that would not consumer her passion gradually in the future. And it's so rare and amazing for you DD to know what she really wants in such a young age. Good for her and you are doing just the right thing!!

I sat at amphi tonight and found myself really invested in the cellist in a strange way. I do agree with the points that there were sometimes too many things moving on the stage and many of them were pretty abstract. A lot of times when I was still trying to digest what was the meaning of this and that, my attention deviated from main characters... But I really enjoy the light design for the Cellist, the light and shade were dreamy, deep and graphical in so many moments! I enjoyed Sambe's expressive movements the most, but Lauren and Ball were also exquisite!!

Not sure you will get much below 50p!
Thank you for replying! I have already got 2 tickets for Lamb's and Nela's, so I post this with the hope that I can get one by lucky. As a student, I've already surged too much on RB's tickets TAT

Hi!
I'm looking for a ticket of RB Swan Lake on March 11/18/25. Really want to see one performance of Osipova before leaving UK.
SCS would be really ideal, but also accept anything below 50p .Please DM me if you have one, thank you!!!
Thanks!!

That was the performance not just of a principal but of a star. No wonder her prince was smitten.
I just wish they had been matched by a more credible Lilac Fairy. I did think that Gina Storm Jensen danced the variation a lot better than when I've seen her before; but in a company chock full of wonderful dramatic dancers, it is really noticeable when someone isn't expressive especially in such a crucial role. A casting decision I really don't understand.
Naghdi and Ball sensational. McNally a wonderful Carabosse. And Elizabeth McGorian the most gracious and beautiful Queen you could possibly imagine.
So true! As far as I think, a good lilac fairy should almost serve as the sign of hope, making all the audience feel reliable in the flow of storyline. If the role is not expressive enough, it will seem very unconvincing...

Fumi was absolutely amazing! Stable, charming, devoted wholeheartedly to the role. Last Saturday night I was lucky enough see Fumi as Lilac Fairy live at ROH, her Lilac Fairy really showed the elegance, braveness of the role. So so so happy for her!!!
Naghdi/Ball's Bluebird/Florine was stable and faultless all the time, always feel their pas de deux as a highlight of Act3.

Kings College London has changed their courses to on-line courses and some departments decided to provide students with take-home exams, because 2 cases have been tested positive there...
The situation is not good. NHS has been only testing around 1,200 -1,400 cases everyday and there are 50-80 positive cases increase for each day. I can't imagine what is going to happen if they do what they claim, which is to test 10,000 cases in each day forward.
