Getting excited about next weeks finals! Does anyone know how long we have to wait for a decision?

We have just received our letters - auditioned 7th Jan for a Y7 DS & Y8 DD. My son has finals but it was a “not yet” for my daughter. 
 

Does anyone have experience as to what to expect from finals?

Elmhurst phoned me yesterday to say that the Artistic Director Mr Parker would like to offer my son a place to start straight away as he was so impressed by his dancing!! 😮

 

And my son hurt his foot at the end of the audition and had to stop  so he is very happy. I didn’t sit in and watch because my son didn’t want me to.

 

He has been invited up at the beginning of February for the day to join in with the Y7 ballet classes, have a full physio assessment, and for both of us to look around.

 

His heart still lies with RBS training where he is currently an MA, but if he doesn’t get WL this year, we will seriously consider this wonderful opportunity. 

 

 

How totally wonderful for you both! Good luck to you both for WL - either way how lovely to have his passion for ballet recognised like this! 😊

They said max 10 days but usually it’s a lot earlier. Sometime next week I imagine!🤞🏼

We auditioned on 7th 9am for a year 7 & year 8 place. Now just awaiting our letter. Trying to occupy my time but how hard is waiting?! Lol

I still have a glimmer of hope for the SWL!😄 Year 6 place for my DS in either Eastleigh or London.🤞🏼

Oh so sorry! We all know that the chances of getting in are incredibly slim yet it's still disappointing when we hear!

Do we think all 4 London results will be sent out today? Or a split? We are London 3 and I REALLY don't want to have to wait until next week!😩

Additional info: Hasn't danced for long at all but has excellent flexibility and nice lines. 

We are very relaxed when it comes to a yes or no - obviously a yes would be fab but I'm a firm believer in everything happening (or not) for a reason! xxx
