The RAD repertoire days are brilliant (held at their HQ in Battersea), there should be another one coming up in December (they are usually once a term).

Can You Dance and Move It are both great fun events. A full day of workshops with loads of different styles available to choose from. A good mix of elite and casual dancers attend

  2. Just to say we went to Pose A Pointes yesterday based on recommendation on here and it was fab thankyou. Olivia is lovely and seemed to know exactly what shoes my daughter needed. Also she is moving back in to a full shop stocking boutique leotards next week. I know it's another opportunity to get fleeced but I'm a sucker for a beautiful leotard 🤣

The university dance scene has really exploded in the last few years - lots of unis now have dance societies and it can be very competitive. Something to consider in the hunt for that 'middle ground'!

This is interesting - do you know of any examples i can look at? We aren't quite at this stage yet but my daughter loves dance and is also quite academic - this could be the perfect compromise for her xx

  4. Hi,

Anyone have any experience of the RAD Dance Challenge.  Sounds like a great opportunity for my daughter who loves to choreograph her own work.  Anyone know what the standard is like and what age usually participate.

    Any info welcome

    Thanks

  5. Anyone have any info on Hammond associates please - the dance focused one. What day is it and how much ballet is involved vs other dance styles? For my dd aged 12. I've tried emailing them but no answer - thanks x
