  1. Still thinking about last night's stunning Swan Lake. I was blown away. I greatly enjoy theatre and film but there is something about ballet performed at this sublime level of artistry that is so wonderful and emotionally fulfilling that I find it impossible to describe or give justice to. Heartfelt thanks to Fumi and Vadim and to the whole company for an evening which will be kept in my memory for a very long time.

Another sublime performance today that almost reduced me to tears from the sheer beauty of it.  Deep sigh.

I rarely post, but I have to agree. So, so beautiful and incredibly moving.

  3. I am not sure if anyone else has mentioned so apologies if so, but there is a delightful backstage photograph of some of Saturday evening's wonderful cast on Francesca Hayward's Instagram account. I do not post reviews, or post much at all really. I don't have the skill or technical knowledge and just greatly enjoy reading other people's comments. I can only say that Saturday's performance touched my heart and soul in a way I cannot explain. What a wonderful privilege to see such talented, dedicated young dancers giving their absolute all. I was blown away.

  4. I note ROH is working with the V&A on a major new exhibition exploring opera from its origins to present day. Do forum members better informed than myself know of anything similar for dance ever taking place? I recall the history of the Royal Ballet exhibition about seven years or so ago, but cannot call to mind anything else.

This was in the Evening Standard a couple of days ago. I am sure there is a better way of me doing these links rather than something which seems to go on for 3 pages!

Also, whilst not the most appropriate place, can I just say how much I enjoy reading the posts and reviews on this forum. I find it greatly enjoyable and informative.
