My apologies for starting another thread.  I saw this one.  Also that is was dated 2016.  I thought it had not been posted yet. I did not realize the new posts were at the bottom. 

Xander Parish was last night (27 July 2017) promoted to Principal at the Mariinsky Ballet of St. Petersburg after a successful performance as Siegfried in Swan Lake at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, dancing with Viktoria Tereshkina and Andrei Yermakov as Von Rothbart.

He is the first British dancer ever to be named Principal of a Russian Company.
