Anyone else excited about this?
I found this trailer on youtube and am now ecstatic!
I'm over the moon that this production is finally being brought home to London!
What are your thoughts? Hottest ticket in town?- 1

Welcome to the Forum Balletbob69. I hope you will continue to contribute! The Danes were absolutely tremendous weren't they!
Luke trained at the RDB school so would know the dancers who came over as part of the group. He also danced with his father's Company. Whatever, I'm very glad he joined BRB!
Hello Janet.
Much thanks for the warm welcome

Couldn't agree more, Bill & Dave. A superb performance. Steven McRae and Iana Salenko were phenomenal!
I can only agree with this

In my recent experiences, my biggest pet peeve with audience behaviour is quite simply people can't leave their sodding phones off.
Flashing them around distracting everyone around them. It's a real shame for everyone trying to enjoy the performance!- 4

I think it's more than a rumour. The 2015-6 season is going to be built round Shakespeare's works culminating in a new Bintley work. Ideal casting for Romeo and Juliet is a hard one as so much can change but I would like to see both Celine Gittens and Delia Matthews as Juliet amongst others. For Romeo definitely Mathias Dingman and Brandon Lawrence. Much as I adore Tyrone Singleton I would love to see him have a go. I would also like to see Luke Schaufuss get lots of chances in a number of roles.
I agree with all this. Hope we get to see these stunning dancers in R&J.
Also excited to see what Luke Schaufuss gets cast as. He did a lovely interview with the Observer recently that caught my eye.

It's on in London, at the Coliseum, Queensland Ballet, August 4-8.
It's Peter Schaufuss' version which is by far my favourite. Simply stunning production

They were Wonderful! I love the danish style so much!
Also a bit off topic. I was lucky enough to meet Luke Schaufuss in the audience. Really nice lad!
I believe he was with danish before he joined brb??? Interesting....- 2

Very sad to see him leave BRB. But I think he is meant for greater things, and I think for one that it's a wonderful opportunity at Scottish. Incredibly interesting company, that really seems to be on the move.
That's a real surprise to hear Angela, I thought he was fabulous when he did La Sylphide in London, star quality material. Looking forward to see what the future brings for him!
