    Time: 10.15am-12.30pm or 12.45-3pm

it came via email, has a uniform list too. DD will be in J2.  I've sent all info back including this years school report!

Now the hard part of working out what leotard/ nude knicker size to order!  Any one have any advice?

Dd has size 0,1 and 2's from different brands that fit. X

  2. I had Bath info on Wednesday, not much help to be honest. It has given me all the dates and either 10:15-12:30 or 12:45-3 but no info on which time is for which date. just hoping we find out which one correlates to which date soon x

Congratulations. You'll get an email with info very soon, but it's likely to stay the same as it is this year and so it will be 10.15am - 12.30pm. The Bath JAs are very lucky as their teacher is simply wonderful!

Am I right in assuming the year 6 class is afterwards?

  4. Has the Birmingham results just been missed out or has no one on here auditioned at that centre?

We are waiting on bath which I thought would be the end of the week ( assuming one centre a day) but now thinking it could be this evening or tomorrow! Not that DD is bothered after getting no's the last 2 years, she just loves the chance to dance with a ja teacher and with the bonus of a day off school x

  5. Has anyone had yr5 Birmingham results??

Dd auditioned in Birmingham for a Birmingham or bath place. Just wondering if we will hear with the Birmingham or bath results.

Hugs to your ds csmith263, dd was heartbroken last year especially as her friend got in x

  6. Hey

Just after some advice regarding ja application photos.

We have just had ours done with a photographer arranged by the ballet school ( pushing it fine with the closing date so close I know) and well they weren't what I was expecting. There is a shadow behind my daughter in everyone that makes it look like she is wobbering. Are shadows the norm??

Think I may be more gutted that I can't have one put on a canvas.

  7. Petal violet

Off topic but I was wondering if you could share with me some tips you got from the ja for a day experience?! We were hoping to attend one but nearest one was 3 hours away. Typical as last year there was one 20minutes down the road but dd was not old enough.

I would have sent dd with her socks folded down.

( I just don't like them pulled up) if it was not for your comment on the ja leotard thread

  8. Sorry to add to an old thread, but was wondering if anyone's dc has wore spilt soles for a grade 1 exam? Dd has never worn them, her teacher likes dc to have new shoes for exams and we were all given spilt soles. I have looked on the rad website and for grade 1-3 it just say "pink soft ballet shoes with ribbons or elastic".

on grade 4+ it says spilt sole are permitted!

Any advice would b grateful x

  10. Thank you so much for your replies! From your responses we're actually quite lucky to have the classes available in one place, and I shouldn't listen to people who say she's too young or little.

Pbt is progressing ballet technique, which from what I can gather is to help muscle memory

Dd has just turned 7 and will be taking her grade 1 exam this exam period!
