As far as I am aware, YDA don’t have a set number in each year. They seem to offer to those they really want, not to fill places. The maximum in a year group is about 14 (mix of boys and girls) but can be as few as 8/9.
gosh! (gulp!)

Does anyone know how many places there are for the lower school?

Does anyone know when the results will be released for YDA , FIRST ROUND?

Hello everyone, I'm very new to all of this. My dd has just gained a place as a JA in Manchester.(y6) The envelope arrived on Thursday and I do confess to holding it up to the light and feeling it to see if I could decipher its contents without actually opening it ! I'm still in a state of shock especially as this was the first time dd has auditioned for JA. Not certain what to expect but I'm certain she'll have a lovely time and make some new friends.
very funny....i can just imagine doing that..

oh and yes i guess it `ok' if course to help our dd's to stretch...but not beat them in to it..
i help my dd stretch, because she wants me to . and i enjoy being involved in something she loves.
im not sure about the horror stories that went on , but during this morning auctions, i can say that yes she as happy , before they went in, there were a few girls warming up, but i wouldn't say showing off.
my dd ca not stretch that much, and at first she was a little overwhelmed...but soon she decided to hold her head up and do the exercises shes happy doing ( stretches)...
over all really nice day.

it is sooooo EXPENSIVE! 🤑
WE looked everywhere for my daughter to stay.. and the cheapest we found with this place, as it was close to the school.
I have already paid for the whole year, and the flat will be empty for a month, therefore looking just to cover some fees back.
