And Bravo to Romany for many many other things. All the Royal Ballet dancers are Super Troupers but Romany is a Super Super Trouper.

I have a standing ticket Amphi for Manon Wednesday 11 April 2018, 7.30pm available at face value £5.00.

Tried to sign this got stuck on "sign another 8 petions" signed ones I agreed with but kept repeating ones I did not agree with. I had to give up in the end. Think I only passed  2 steps. Would like to sign yours alone and then off to some where else.

I can think of a certain party in a certain country where only a chap called Flake is willing to speak truth to power that could fill the job of spineless.

If I was a rich man I would be in NYC on Tuesday, June 9 Paloma Herrera will give her farewell performance as Princess Aurora in Alexei Ratmansky’s The Sleeping Beauty.  and if I was an even richer man  I would stay till June 20 when Julie Kent will dance her final performance with ABT as  Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. If I win the lottery I will be there.

Any one know if she is dancing anywhere anytime soon. I miss her so much.

Miyako Yoshida is my fave dancer - a jewel of a dancer for a jewel of a ballet   :-)

After many years looking for what to me was the most exquisite thing in nature ( flowers, scenery, etc.) when I first saw Miyako Yoshida in 2001, I thought this is it. I still do.

Its easy to take an inflated pay cheque its not right though.

The people at the top especially at the top of the Royal Ballet are responsible for the decision to allow the choreographer, they appointed, to carry out this piece of "bad practice".

The buck stops at the top.

These people are paid very large salaries funded by the government borrowing money on our behalf (Tax payers outside the S.E.).

They have probably been  getting well higher than inflation rises in salary for many years.

They should not be apologised for they have employees ( PR man) to do that for them

Okay, but the hard facts are that when the redundancies come round, it won't be the grafters that go first - it will be the clock-watchers.

I was made redundant from 60 hour plus a week job in my fifties, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have a lot less money but a lot more time. Don't do what you don't like you will soon be told old to do anything. The work ethic is OK but so is              " standing and staring".

Definitely a too sweeping generalisation but probably has some truth in it just as the sweeping generalisation that women are better then men. The women better then men is proved to an extent by the much lower level of violent crime committed by women.

Not sure that would work - can you see Friar Lawrence performing a same-sex marriage?  And the rival clan problem would hardly be noticed.

Ah but Friar Lawrence is not of our times. A lady Bishop from Wales should be available soon. Clans are more difficult people in same sex relationships do seem to be wiser than Hetros. There were two aggressive gay men in some episodes of Seinfeld who could be drafted in.

I hope this does not sound to trivial or silly but could we maybe not have a same sex version to chime in with our times. A Romeo and Julian or Rhoda and Juliette. I am sure the sword fighting would be no problem to a well trained Royal ballerina.

The Royal ballet should try and tempt Maria Kochetkova back the UK from San Francisco. She is fab.
