CeliB
My brother, who is an army officer, was most disappointed to discover Bloch booties don't come in larger sizes (DS is lucky that he has small feet for his height!)- if Bro' could have fitted DSs pair I can guarantee he'd have put an order in....
Lottie
They are available up to UK size 10 for anyone interested.
Bailarin
I ordered some "massage balls" for DD recently only to realise when they arrived that she could have actually just used the balls I use in the tumble drier.... totally the same product! I think they just take lots of everyday things and add a bit of dance packaging and bump the price up to be honest. Most of the stuff she uses for her feet can be bought cheaper from sites for elderly people with bunions etc!
Harwel
My 'go to' piece of kit for tight muscles is a tennis ball. Cheap and affective. My Pilates students grown when they see tennis balls as they walk into class, but they always feel the benefit.

VERY effective and painful at times!! Heather Aka Taximom
Harwel
Oh yes, I'm too much of a wimp for golf balls! I'm pretty sure my clients wouldn't return either....
drdance
During winter months I often see slippers on sale that look like Bloch booties, but a whole lot cheaper! Edited May 29, 2015 by drdance

Happymum
I just love this thread! Can't add anything to it as my DD wears just regular ballet school uniform and my DS is too young for dance belt but I really enjoy reading your posts - such fun!
Petalviolet
Dubious massage equipment and male containment issues - how quickly my innocuous thread has spiralled out of control.
Lottie
Sorry Petalviolet. Partly my fault.

hfbrew
On subject of Ballet Belts or Jocks as ds has always called them, I do recall him telling me with great mirth about the talk his class got at WL about which way round they went...
annaliesey
Haha chuckling at this thread. My DD actually wears the knitted shorts and when I look at her it makes me itch! She has knitted dungarees on her birthday list. ... Yep... Actual knitted dungarees! Yuk
