Facebook problems can anyone help?

I have two problems on Face book: I cannot go on to the home pages of the two latest people to become friends and as one is a relative whose email address I have lost, I am a bit worried.  All that happens is when I click on the name I simply return to my own home page.

 

Also I find from today that when I went onto the home page of another friend, I can write something, but when I press enter nothing happens.

 

Any ideas as to what is wrong?

The first is what happens when someone has deactivated their account, if not that then sorry don't know!

Have you tried a different browser? Or clearing your cache and rebooting?

I had that happening to me yesterday morning as well when I tried to post on a friend's wall. I tried to private message them aswell and even clicked on their name where it was highlighted in a another post. I was either returned to my own page or had a 'this page does not exist or the link is broken message'. However, in the evening it was back to working as normal so I am not sure if the problem was with facebook or if it is was solved with clearing browsing history, switching off and coming back afresh later.
