Busymum
Thanks for letting us know dancing pickles. Hope you and your DD are ok. That was our result last year too. Onwards and upwards as DD off to tring full time in September. Suppose it's harder as older Dd is already a JA xx Edited June 8, 2015 by Busymum
dancing pickles
Thanks Busymum, my older dd got a no the first time too, then got in on her second try - she's off to vocational school in September too Younger dd was fine, she's already asked to try again next year!

tootifruiti
Well done Dancing pickles. My dd has only been doing ballet since September!!!!! She has been offered 32 sessions a year, I thought it was going to be less (every other week or once a month), its going to be a challenge fitting it around everything else as we are an hour & half away. DD is mega excited though. Edited June 8, 2015 by tootifruiti
Petalviolet
I'm sorry for the No dancing pickles but sounds like there's a lot of dancing success in your family and she's seen perseverance pays off and next time she will be even more ready!

How long did you have to wait for the email, as I'm not sure when they had Manchester auditions? Thanks
new123
Me again, pls ignore the question as I found the info on RBS website, it looks like we had about 4 weeks between auditions, but I'm hoping we get results sooner than in 4 weeks
Flowerdew
One of my pupils heard today that she has been offered a year 6 place and another is on the short waiting list for year 4. Congratulations to your DD Tootifruiti

amos73
Congratulations all the yeses, and sorry about the nos. Hope DC are taking it ok. Â We are waiting for London, yr 6, although not expecting a positive outcome, simply because there seemed to be at least 100 girls auditioning for a year 6 place the day we were there, and there are so very few places in year 6!!! DD thoroughly enjoyed the audition and came out beaming saying she felt she had done her best so am pleased with this, whatever the outcome.

Picturesinthefirelight
A little girl from dds old dance school got a yes for Birmingham. She's 9 so I guess that's Year 4?
Petalviolet
Just out of interest how many centres are there - if you don't mind me asking? I only know of Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Bath, Leeds, London.... and the mysterious Eastleigh. If there are any other Game of Thrones watchers out there Eastleigh always sounds like it's "beyond the wall".

Pas de Quatre
Sorry - Eastleigh isn't very exotic, just a village that has virtually become part of Southampton. Edited June 9, 2015 by Pas de Quatre
Petalviolet
Sorry - Eastleigh isn't very exotic, just a village that has virtually become part of Southampton. I think it reminds me of Eastwatch in GOT. East Tower...Eastwatch by the Sea....oh something...
Petalviolet
Eastleigh - Eastwatch by the sea! That's it! Now if anyone is going off thread it's me.
Busymum
PV you are hilarious. You are waiting for London results aren't you? We are too for DS. Not much longer to wait hopefully xx
Petalviolet
Yes London, but I'm into the doubting phase right now "what WERE we thinking?" I think there are phases to the JA audition! I've just passed the "head in sand" phase but I'm not yet at the "pacing" phase.
