Danceintherain
Help! Prob such a novice question, but my dd starts tomorrow and I've no idea what to do with the hair ribbon! Really worried I'm going to mess it up. Plus, does it go above, or below the bun? Any guidance appreciated!
Piccolo
Danceintherain, I think you're supposed to cut the ribbon in half and make a small neat bow to go under the bun. I would probably cut off a couple of cms as I think it looks neater. Make the ribbon ends look nice, and burn them a bit so they don't unravel. Don't get neurotic over it (like me!).
Danceintherain
Thank you Piccolo. Wish me luck, haha!
Dreamy11
I thought the bow went at the top of the bun?
Haggis
Hope your dd enjoys the class .
Piccolo
You may be right. I seem to remember it went at the bottom for JA's. Bows certainly look much nicer at the top of the bun on my Dd. I expect danceintherain and her dd will find out tomorrow! :-)
Danceintherain
Well I've nailed it, think it looks pretty good! Might put it in when we get there, see where others have put there's. Thanks all! x

shygirlsmum
Thank you, it's just sinking in really, I really didn't expect her to get a place. Just read through this whole thread and I now appreciate just how well she has done. I envisioned much bigger classes to hear that there are only about 16 in a class really puts things into perspective.
Bestfootforward
My child didn't go to WL final but was offered an MA place. At the same time, there were children who went to WL final who did not get a WL place and were not offered an MA place.
shygirlsmum
Well done to your DD. Thats a shame for the other children, perhaps physio assessment highlighted something that made them unsuitable for RB training as suggested in an earlier post.
TBG
DD has been offered MA yr 7 place at Bath - from waiting list. Anyone know if they prefer satin or leather flats there please? Again, didn't realise how few places were available for MA'S. Very proud of DD,
Piccolo
Well done to your dd :-) I think leather and canvas is the most popular. I expect you'll be recommended to Dancewell in Bristol though, where you'll get the right advice for your dd as well as for Bath MA's.
