BalletcoForum Moderators Posted January 2, 2015 Share Posted January 2, 2015 Perhaps many of us were wondering why Laura Morera missed several of her shows back in November and early December (in Liam Scarlett's piece, or as Mercedes for example). The cast sheets and/or change slip merely said 'indisposed'. We have been informed that this wasn't due to injury or sickness but to the very sad news that her father had died after a brief illness. As a consequence Laura was with her family in Madrid comforting each other in their bereavement, and for the funeral. Her dad was her biggest fan and anyone who went to the stage door after a show would almost certainly have seen him there. We can only offer our condolences knowing that words are really not enough in these times of family grief. If Laura is reading this, please know that our thoughts and best wishes are with you and your family, but also that we are glad to see you back on stage, lighting up Covent Garden again. 20 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
