I'm so glad you posted this as I had been wanting to see the Shadows of War programme and had completely overlooked that it was on at SW, although it will be another very busy week I can just fit in the Saturday matinee before going to the ROH!

I'm probably doing the Saturday matinee too!

Well, after booking I thought I'd look up the trains and I know that you live near Brighton too, there seems to be no train service between Three Bridges and Brighton, so it's either train to Three Bridges and railway bus to Victoria, or go the long way via Littlehampton, which is probably better for me as I live in Portslade, I already have the evening booked too, so it's going to be one of those days!

The good news is that the matinee starts at 2.30pm and the evening at 7pm.

Ive got the same prob this weekend.....no trains on Sunday from Brighton to Three Bridges. My partner is having his postponed op on Monday and he's already in London so will have to do the train thing!! It was a nightmare last time this happened! Not going......though was lucky to get a seat.....but coming back.....as the bus didn't turn up and we waited over an hour in the end getting back to Brighton after Midnight!!

They'll put on a bus to Three Bridges which is quite fast as goes A23 route and doesn't stop anywhere.

Usually though there's then an overcrowding problem on the trains at three Bridges because of course no extra carriages are put on so you've got people from different lines all trying to get on the same train!!!!

I may do a return coach fare then on that Saturday usually takes 2 and a quarter to 2 and a half hours that way......so sometimes still better to do the wretched bus and train thing if you are worried about time!!

I'm hoping to book the tickets for BRB while I'm up in London for most of next week!

I live in Worthing and find that when there is working on the West Coast/Brighton line it is best to drive to Arundel and pick up the Arun Valley line -Littlehampton and Victoria.

Yes that's a good idea, it is having to go down to Littlehampton and back that takes the time, it's a nice ride through the Sussex countryside during the daytime but deadly late at night.  I've always loved Arundel but that's another awkward journey, I still have to go via Littlehampton, bus or train!

The Beauty and the Beast casting for Sadler's Wells is now on the website.  It seems sensible to keep all the Sadler's Wells casting in one thread so I'd be grateful if an administrator could change the subject appropriately.

Sorry, Bluebird - a bit slow on the uptake there!  I was starting to wonder why on earth BRB still hadn't released the Beauty and the Beast casting :(
