swanprincess
I was just wondering if anyone has a copy of "The Essential Guide to Dance" (Linda Ashley) or "Dancers Talking Dance" (Larry E. Lavender) that they would be willing to sell, or any recommendations where I can buy either fairly cheaply? They are on the recommended reading list for A Level Dance- I looked on Amazon for them but, at £25 each, I thought I'd see if they are available anywhere else first! Thanks x
Lifeafterballet?
Swanprincess, dd just taken AS Dance exam and didn't know there was such a thing as a reading list!!! I know results will tell but I wouldn't rush into buying any books (unless you would be interested in reading them anyway) just yet

taxi4ballet
For Essential guide to Dance - try eBay, there's used as well as new on there just now.
spooky
Only just looked at this but have you tried your local library. I managed to get nearly all of the books dd needed for first year at Central from ours although some had to be ordered in from other branches. I did this initially intending to then purchase the ones she actually used or found most useful but because they are quite specialist books noone else requested them and I was able to keep renewing them for the whole year.
