Kira
Mine is this one from Germany of a dancer on a roof . I found that the song and the clip are really cool and I love the voice of this singer!

Jan McNulty
Hello Kira, and welcome to the Forum! Thanks for the clip. This is an excerpt on Youtube of my favourite dance on video. It's Koen Onzia (prisoner), Matz Skoog and Kevin Richmond in Christopher Bruce's Swansong. It was created for English National Ballet. I used to watch this at least once a week!
Anna C
If it works, here's mine - I love the music, the informality of the whole thing, and most of all, the joy Polina exudes:

Anna C
Snap! That's my favourite video, too, Spanner! That is spooky! :-) Dd's teacher showed it to us as dd's arms are like Polina's - apparently!
rowan
A compliment indeed! I'm also pretty keen on this one of a very young Alessandra Ferri, despite the film maker cutting off her prized feet in many a place! I can't get this to embed, but here's a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkGMNCfY2io
LinMM
I'll have to hunt around now for one of mine which is of Beatriz Stix-Brunell in a studio in the states somewhere. I did have it in favourites but when I updated to IOS 7 lost all my favourites!!

Odyssey
Janet, thank you for posting the Swansong extract. I have a very old video copy of this and like you used to play it endlessly. Ghost Dances is another favourite of mine.
Dance*is*life
I just found this old thread and wanted to add one of my personal favourites - . Hope it works it's Gene Kelly from Cover Girl - I had no idea that they had the technology in 1944 to create this amazing sequence, but apparently they did. He is supposed to be furious with himself over his girlfriend and the image is his alter ego.
Balletomanewithoutacause
First post here! Let's see if this works Yulia Stepanova as Clemence, in Raymonda.

Fiz
Thank you, dear Jan! I think they are absolutely amazing. I so wish I could do this or dance like a great ballet dancer but since I can't, I shall just have to admire those than can.???? Fonty
I am not sure whether some people would consider this to be dance, but I just have to mention Donald O'Connor's Make 'Em Laugh routine from Singing in the Rain Oh, and I adore Ann Miller, but cannot decide which clip of her tap dancing is the best.
Dance*is*life
Personally I think that those old musical films had some of the best dancing around! I love the bit with Gene Kelly dancing with Jerry the mouse in Anchors Aweigh!

CharlieChuck
My all time favourite video has been removed from youtube but it involved a touch me/paralyzer mix up But this always makes me giggle Edited November 19, 2014 by CharlieChuck
Dance*is*life
Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!!!!!!! And of course it worked because they are such beautiful dancers, we realise that they are doing it on purpose......... By the way what piece of Chopin is that? It's driving me nuts trying to think what it is!
Petunia
Waltz in E minor, op. posth. 1830. If you can, try to see the whole thing ("The Concert", by Jerome Robbins) - it's hilarious!

loveclassics
Astonishing what you can find on YouTube. For instance look at this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIiZuAVZH4w. Amazing clip of Gwen Verdon and Bob Fosse in Damn Yankees. One of my favourites but eclipsed by this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8oY_7Z_8V8 Wonderful finale to Kiss Me Kate with 6 great dancers but again my favourite is Bob Fosse, this time with Carol Haney. Don't miss!
taxi4ballet
Don't know if pop videos count, but the current one by Taylor Swift 'Shake it off' has some great dancing in it and dd has watched it loads. Lisa O`Brien
Some wonderful clips here, especially Gene Kelly , Donald O`Connor and the Nicholas Brothers. Such genius,in a world where the term is often bandied about too frequently.
Quintus
As the famous Polina Semionova one has already posted, I'll add this other one of her (well, skipping the first couple of minutes of Mr Bolle going for a run).... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GI2VrONVxg
Dance*is*life
I was searching for variations to teach in senior pointe class and came across this. I just sat there stunned - she hovers in the air! It's of Natalia Osipova in Le Corsaire. Amazing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLNW3aioL1w
Quintus
Danceislife, that is an amazing clip. I know nothing of the technical side - how does Natalia get her dazzling speed; is it some feature of technique or just sheer athleticism? I saw her dance Kitri with Vasiliev a couple of years ago and was blown away. She has a huge presence on stage.
Mummykool
My absolute favourite Osipova clip was her dancing the male variation from The Flames of Paris at a Japanese gala. The dancing was breath-taking and the Freddy Mercury style moustache hilarious. Sadly this has been deleted from You Tube. Now if I need cheering up I go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2Bs-XCqnoA. It never fails to make me smile.
