I received an email from Motionhouse about a couple of summer intensives that the company is running:

We’ll be taking a mini break from our international touring this summer offering young dancers the opportunity to work with us in two intensive courses.  We’re inviting energetic and enthusiastic 8-12 year olds and 14-19 year olds with existing experience in dance to participate in two workshops where we’ll be focussing on creativity, technique, choreography and also building confidence. If you, your friends or family members want to keep active, develop new skills and work creatively this summer then this is an amazing one-off chance to work intensively with Motionhouse.
Motionhouse Junior Summer Intensive
Open to everyone, these classes are an informal and fun way to keep anyone aged between 8 and 12 years occupied and energised during the summer holidays. The high-energy course will give you the chance to explore acrobatic moves and partnering, develop new skills and make new friends whilst working together to create a short piece for performance.
Tue 29 Jul – Fri 01 Aug 2014 | 10.00am - 12.30pm  £40.00*
Motionhouse Youth Summer Intensive
Designed for 14–19 year olds this is a unique and invaluable opportunity for anyone with dance experience to keep active and develop their technique during the summer break. The weeklong intensive course will allow experienced young dancers and dance students to develop their skills and work to create dynamic and exciting choreographic material.
Mon 04  – Fri 08 Aug 2014 | 11.00am - 4.30pm

*Sign up a sibling! We’re offering family members signing up to either class a £5.00 discount off the cost of booking if both participants are enrolled and paid for at the same time.

We’re expecting the projects to fill up quickly, so if you, your friends or family are interested in the classes, which will take place in our studio in Leamington Spa, book your place early by calling Sam on 01926 887 052 or emailing info@motionhouse.co.uk Projects must be paid for in full, in advance.
