Hi, I hope we have got this in the right place because we are new to this forum!

We are just wondering who else may be starting York scholars this September? My dd auditioned 27th April at 11.45 and is very lucky to have got a yes!! She doesn't know anybody and would be great to be in touch with any other new people especially in the north east.  x

Hi Snaredy. Sorry I don't know anyone starting in September. Just wanted to say though that several years ago my DD started & didn't know anyone either. By the end of the first lesson she had made good friends! It's a lovely, happy environment

Thank you spannerandpony and dancemad!  I feel thoroughly 'welcomed', and DD is very happy about receiving a place.  I'm sure she will soon make friends, but being a little shy, I think it just may have made her feel a little more comfortable about the first class, to have known someone.  Thanks for your replies.
