smallbythesea
Hi all Just had an email from Grand Opera House, York advertising the ENB performance of my first sleeping beauty. They are also doing workshops for age 7-12 on stage. I have checked the booking form & there are other workshops around the country, although I think London was booked up. Thought it might be of use to somebody, although it does say no previous experience required. Anybody ever been to one of their workshops?
taxi4ballet
My dd has been to a couple and had a lovely time, the workshops are fun and good value for money. The only thing I would mention is that the workshops for 7-12's are intended for everyone and the more experienced 11-12 year-olds might not find the steps particularly challenging. Great experience though, as many of the workshops take place on stage and can be combined with tickets to see the performance afterwards.
robin64
My DD did an ENB workshop last summer and it was split into 2 groups so the more experienced/older dancers were together. It was based on "Strictly Gershwin" and was free!! It was lovely to go and DD enjoyed it.
