This new high energy production, directed by Olivier nominee Nick Winston (Loserville, I Dreamed A Dream, Horrid Henry), features outstanding talent that has emerged from TV dance shows over the past few years performing a huge range of dance styles, from Latin to lockin’, Celtic to contemporary and street dance to salsa. The 2014 line-up includes Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer from Strictly Come Dancing; world street dance champions Flawless from Britain’s Got Talent; and Olivier Award-nominated Tommy Franzén from So You Think You Can Dance. They appear alongside Alleviate and Brosena from Got To Dance, who return to FLASH MOBTM for a second time, following a successful three week run in 2012. The production uses social networking to narrate an emotive first act that introduces a range of characters and encourages the audience to get involved. The second half of the show continues the dance fusion theme, culminating in a spectacular finale that is sure to get everyone is on their feet. Karen Hauer is best known to millions as one of BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing professionals, who last year partnered Hairy Biker Dave Myers. After reaching the final six girls on So You Think You Can Dance USA in 2008, she joined the original Broadway cast of Burn The Floor as a principal female dancer, remaining with the show on a world tour that took her to the USA, Europe, the UK (she was a member of the original West End cast at the Shaftesbury Theatre), Asia, Australasia and South Africa. Kevin Clifton reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing with his celebrity partner Susanna Reid in 2013. Trained in ballroom and Latin from an early age, Clifton was Youth World Number One and four times British Latin Champion. He went on to win International Open titles in Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Japan, France, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland and Belgium. In 2010 he made his musical theatre debut in Dirty Dancing at the Aldwych Theatre in London’s West End. He also appeared in the world tour of Burn the Floor. Flawless played one of the lead dance roles in the smash hit movie StreetDance 3D and was seen making a return appearance in the sequel StreetDance 2 3D. The company, which gained fame on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, toured with ballet dancers from English National Ballet in Against Time in 2012. They presented their show Chase the Dream at the Peacock Theatre in 2011, and performed for Her Majesty the Queen at her Jubilee Concert alongside Kylie Minogue. Tommy Franzén is best known to TV viewers as the runner-up on BBC1’s So You Think You Can Dance, 2010. He co-choreographed ZooNation’s Some Like It Hip Hop alongside director and choreographer Kate Prince and performed the role of Simeon Sun to critical acclaim at the Peacock Theatre and on UK tour. He recently worked with Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Russell Maliphant, touring internationally with The Rodin Project. He was awarded Outstanding Male Performance at The Critic Circle’s National Dance Awards in 2013 and was nominated for a Times South Bank Sky Arts Breakthrough award and a Laurence Olivier Award in 2012. Dance duo Alleviate made their name with breath-taking performances in the 2011 series of Sky 1′s Got To Dance. Since then they have performed for Her Majesty the Queen by special invitation at Buckingham Palace and have starred in their own show as part of a world cruise. Having worked all over the world for the past six months, they return to London to join the FLASH MOB™ cast. Also returning to FLASH MOB™ for the second time is Irish fusion duo Brosena, otherwise known as Tom Brosnan and Erin Trevena. The award winning couple are world class Irish dancers who are taking this traditional style of dance to a new level for today’s audience. Tom Brosnan was voted Man of the Year 2013 by Irish Dance Magazine and they recently completed a world tour of Heartbeat of Home, from the producers of Riverdance.
