afab
The website has been like that for months... We don't live very far and we hardly ever hear about it... When we do, it can be very good or very bad... Sorry, in the end I have no idea!
afab
Also, they put forward a young lady a lot because she won prizes but apparently she only stayed one year in the school and went elsewhere...
Ian Macmillan
I have edited the title of this thread to emphasise that the subject is the School and not the Royal Ballet of Flanders Company.
afab
I just wanted to add that this school has always been a bit of a mistery to me, one I would like to crack. You see, it is about 1 hour from us and of all the vocational ballet dancers I have met for years, none ever went there nor auditioned there. They all went to Paris, Marseille, Cannes, Brussels or Germany... So it really leaves me wondering why...

Circe
I have been trying to find out more about this one too. I emailed about the summer school and got a leaflet and audition entry form but no info on the fees, phoned (well a dutch friend phoned for me) and got no further though they said the website would be updated soon but that was a month ago. Shame as the leaflet made it look very attractive (sorry can't see how to link this to my message.

afab
Not yet but I'm thinking of doing or else sending DD2 for a holiday school there. I did talk to someone whose vocational DD auditioned and she said it was one of the hardest audition her DD did... Interesting!
Marika
My DD started at this school in September and is very happy with her choice. They follow Vaganova training. The classes are very small and it really suits her. If anyone is thinking of auditioning please PM me as I will be very happy to answer your questions.
JessyB
My DD went to this school before being accepted to White Lodge in Year11. She is now in 2nd year upper school at the Royal Ballet School. PM me if you have any specific questions.
