Danceroo Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Hi, I have searched the EYB thread but cannot find exactly the info I am looking for! Could any one give me an idea of the rehearsal schedule for Woking? Dd did Aylesbury 2 years ago but it was in the summer so it did not involve any weekends or time off school. The Woking performance is in mid November. Would the 10 days of rehearsals require any time off school? Would it be every Saturday and Sunday ? Dd starts secondary in September and we do not know how supportive a new school will be regarding authorised abscences? Thanks for your help.
Anon2 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Why don't you email EYB and ask if the rehearsal schedule is available yet? They are very helpful. 1
Anna C Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Hello Danceroo, Here's a link to the EYB FAQ thread in case it contains any help. http://www.balletcoforum.com/index.php?/topic/5256-english-youth-ballet-eyb-frequently-asked-questions/
Danceroo Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Thanks, I will contact EYB directly. I just wondered if it was a bit early to do so! Thanks for your help.
Lemongirl Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 If the performance is mid November, I imagine they'll do a block of rehearsals in Oct half term. That's what happened at Wimbledon last year. They try to keep school absence to a minimum. 1
