Don Q Fan
Is anyone familiar with seating at The Barbican Theatre - is the view from the Circle/Upper Circle OK or is it too far from the stage for a dance performance to see properly? I normally prefer a view from above to see the choreography and I find Stalls are not raked steeply enough or seats offset in the UK to allow a clear view. Any advice appreciated! alison
I'd guess circle is probably best if you want a view from on high, but the bits down the side are very definitely to the side of the stage. Upper circles are also very cramped, as I remember.
Don Q Fan
^^ Great thank you Alison that is very helpful. I have gone with the Stalls - it appears the circles are at the back of the stalls so really a bit far away. I have also found a website called Theatre Monkey which gives the low down on theatres and seating arrangements as well.
