annaliesey Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Hi everyone (me again with another question... ) Can anyone advise on what freework ballet classes are, what grades / age range they usually are applicable for and what the benefits of them are. The one at our dance school is just for adults I think and I don't want to look daft by asking if it's usually always for adults or advanced range Thanks
Thecatsmother Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Hello Free work ballet classes can be at any level and tend to just mean non syllabus classes. If you speak to the teacher they should be able to advise. It may be an adult beginner class which would be fairly basic. 2
Picturesinthefirelight Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 At dds old ballet school they did a lot of free work incorporated into the normal classes - the teacher believes in not just teaching the syllabus excercises. It basically just means non syllabus - availability & suitability for different ages usually depends on demand. 1
