Nana Lily Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Hi folks, Just found out there is a fabulous new ballet shop opening in Birmingham , very close to the Birmingham Royal Ballet and Hippodrome at Misfitted Hub, 71 Smallbrook Queensway, BIRMINGHAM, B5 4HX. The owners are both highly experienced physiotherapists and trained pointe shoe fitters, also both ballet moms having had three children between them at vocational ballet schools. They open very soon on 4th January. Here is their FB page link: https://www.facebook.com/#!/dancique.uk Its long overdue to have a decent ballet shop in central Birmingham, and how lucky are those folks to have such fab pointe shoe fitters, well needed!!! 11
Picturesinthefirelight Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Very overdue (says the mum who last year sat on a train with dd to Birmingham realising we'd left her ballet shoes behind & there was nowhere to get an emergency pair from in the centre. ) 4
hoobydigger Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Long overdue - wishing both ladies the very best of luck and good wishes in their new venture :) 2

Nana Lily Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 Sorry...also do you make appointments for pointe shoe fittings, what are your arrangements...thank you! 1
Picturesinthefirelight Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 It's not applicable to us now but would they be open on a Sunday (we always visited for RAD Associates on a Sunday & there's Midas too on sundays. (I don't know what day JAs are. ) 2
JulieW Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I think questions would be best directed to them via their FB page or website if they have one. 1
