zxDaveM
I hear its Francesca Filpi's last performance at the Royal Ballet today - so sad i missed it. Hoping her life after RB, is an exciting one, and I can't wish her enough good thoughts
Pas de Quatre
Sad to hear this is her last performance, but she has an interesting project in Morocco with Dar Danse. She and her family are building a Dance centre there - check out the Wells Ballet courses for photos and information. There is also an article in January's Dancing Times. alison
Sorry to see her go, too, but I assumed she would have other projects lined up, and wish her all the best. I shall miss her Fairy Godmother in particular, but also a number of other roles.

Bluebird
I'll be really sad to see Francesca go. Like Alison,. I'll miss her Fairy Godmother. This was a role which suited her to perfection. Amongst her many other roles, she was a gorgeous big swan. Some time ago, at a Ballet Association meeting, she said that the role she would most like to do was the nurse in Romeo and Juliet! I have no memory of her achieving this ambition. A pity!
Jan McNulty
John - thanks for the link. What a glorious vision. Very best wishes to Francesca and her family in this venture.
