Anna C
I do wonder if that was a swollen joint as opposed to a true bunion taxi? When dd's bunion first started to form the joint would occasionally get very swollen and painful. However, after treatment and different pointe shoes the swelling and pain disappeared but the underlying bunion did not change.
LinMM
I am lucky with my bunions too in that I haven't lost the movement in that joint and it is rarely painful although of course I don't do pointe work now. It just doesn't look very nice and probably worries others by its look much more than me!! At least nobody would probably want to steal my shoes!!
