barton22
Looks like the DVD and blu ray release of the Bolshoi Bayadere with Zakharova, Alexandrova and Lantratov is already available in the ROH shop. They have been given a few months' exclusive ahead of the autumn general release date.
Quintus
Sadly out of stock on the bluray on the one day I had a 10% discount!

barton22
You can now preorder the dvd on amazon (for about £5 less than the ROH shop is charging), but no sign of the blu ray yet. Release date is September 30th.

Quintus
hmm, I shall certainly get it at some point but £30 is way too steep; will doubtless come down to around £20 at some stage on Amazon, or less if it makes it to Sainsburys Entertainment... As predicted, now available to preorder for £20.45 on Amazon, which I've duly done.. The RoH dvd prices really are outrageous. Also snapped up the Nureyev Bayadere bluray for around a tenner .. alison
Or maybe the ROH prices are RRP - if there is such a thing? Some people might claim that the way Amazon operates to bring you those low prices is "outrageous" - depends how you look at it, really. Personally, I hardly ever buy DVDs and CDs when they first come out - I wait for the price to come down after a few months.
