SBallerina
Hi! I wonder if someone here knows if it is possible to start a full-time ballet school when I'm 18, and not 16 as many of the schools require? If so, which schools are there? I'm thinking of ballet related schools more than ballet, tap, jazz, hiphop, drama, singing etc Thank you
Millie3
Contemporary ballet schools accept 18 year olds eg Rambert, Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Another option is the London Studio Centre - which has a classical ballet option as part of their BA(Hons).

Seagazer
A couple of my pupils were accepted by Ballet West at 18, one of whom went on to gain a contract in Italy, and in the UK.
