English National Ballet announces new starters

We are delighted to announce that English National Ballet has the following new dancers, with effect from the new Autumn Season:

 

Alina Cojocaru (Royal Ballet) - Lead Principal Dancer
Fernando Bufala (Barcelona Ballet, English National Ballet, Royal Ballet School) - Soloist
D Jeanette Kakareka (The Rock School and San Francisco Ballet School) - 1st Year Artist
Madison Keesler (San Francisco Ballet School) – First Artist
Daniele Silingardi (Royal Ballet School) - 1st Year Artist
Joan Sebastian Zamora (The Rock School, Phili (PA) The Royal Ballet School, Institucion Colombiana de Ballet Clasico (Incol ballet) - 1st Year Artist

Excellent news that Fernando Bufala is returning after a 5 year absence. And both Daniele Silingardi (who is Italian) and Joan Samora showed well in the recent Royal Ballet School performances.

Interesting selection of schools - nobody from English National Ballet School I note.

Now knowing the joiners (which is grand), I wondered if there was any indication as to who might be leaving (given the law of natural flow).  Of course we know Esteban.

At present, the only other dancer who is known to be leaving is Jose Becerra who has been an Artist of the Company for the past year.
