Northern Ballet have announced on the Company Website that a Cinderella Ball is being held at Quarry Hill on 5th December 2013:

 

"Thursday 5 December 2013

Northern Ballet's Cinderella Ball is the perfect way to celebrate the festive season with friends, family and colleagues as well as with dancers from the Company. The Ball, held in our award-winning dance studios in Leeds, starts at 7pm with a drinks reception followed by a delicious three course dinner with wine and coffee.

Throughout the evening you will be treated to exclusive preview excerpts from our new ballet Cinderella performed by our exceptional dancers. The evening culminates with after dinner dancing when you will have the opportunity to dance with members of the Company.

The Cinderella Ball will be an extra special start to the season. Join us for this magical evening."

We went to the Nutcracker Ball last year and it really was a truly fabulous evening.  The Company had converted the theatre into a magical space.  We had champagne as we arrived and a splendid meal.  Between each course we were treated to extracts from the Nutcracker.  After the meal we were joined by most of the dancers from the company who got the dancing going to the live jazz band.  The ambience was absolutely wonderful.
