Akram Khan Company - iTMOi - (in the mind of igor)

It is the anniversary of the first performance of the Rite of Spring. As part of the String of Rites at Sadler's Wells Akram Khan's starts a run tonight of iTMOi. We were given a couple of short extracts at yesterday's photocall.  Here are two pictures.  It is hard to judge a performance from such sort extracts but it looked energetic as you would expect a Rite of Spring to be. I look forward to hear from those attending the performances.

I saw this on Tues 28th.  Quite surreal.  Not particularly typical of Khan.  I think the press night is tonight.
